Availability "Thunder In The Sky" EP and Content - clarification

Dear All,

for clarification, since there have been some questions and speculations, here the latest info on the release of "Thunder In The Sky":

The upcoming Deluxe Version of the MANOWAR EP "Thunder In The Sky" - the first music from "The Asgard Saga" - will contain two discs with 6 songs and the song 'Father' in additional 15 languages. It will also hold an over 50 pages large booklet with the song lyrics plus exclusive texts for each song, written by Wolfgang Hohlbein.

The Deluxe EP will be released on July 17 2009 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland
- through all regular retail outlets,
- on www.amazon.de
- and the Kingdom Of Steel webstore (via www.magiccirclemusic.com) (for worldwide shipment!)

Also this Deluxe EP will be sold at the 'Magic Circle Festival', held at Loreley/Germany on July 18th 2009.

The Deluxe EP will be made available in other European countries as well. Stay tuned for more news on the release dates in the other territories.

Note:
During the "Death to Infidels" Tour a limited tour edition will be available, for those who do not wish to wait until the release of the Deluxe EP.
This version holds the same music as the Deluxe EP (but not the stories, since - as everybody will understand - they cannot be revealed before the world premiere of 'The Asgard Saga' on July 18th at 'MCF')

PS: A personal note: Let's not speculate about prices etc. but rather wait for official news. We all know that Manowar care for their fans and will always give them great products for fair prices!

even though he is very busy finishing the first book of 'The Asgard Saga', author Wolfgang Hohlbein granted us some time recently for an interview
and more (you will learn about this soon) At the end, he gave us a message, especially for our website users!



The translation:

Asgardians,

not all of you will be able to join us at the Loreley to celebrate the world premiere of THE ASGARD SAGA!

This is very sad and we regret it as much as you will propably do.

We would love to have you with us, since YOU are the first true Asgardians!
If not in flesh and blood, then at least virtually.

We therefore invite you to send us your VIDEO MESSAGES by youtube link.

But everybody else is invited to leave their "Asgard" greetings, too!

We want to broadcast them not only on this site, but also during the 'Magic Circle Festival' so that all your fellow Asgardians, and all newcomers, see what great people 'live' in Asgard already.

Here some brief guidelines that we kindly ask you to follow. Other than that, you are free in what you are saying, as long as it is ASGARD related.

+ there is a dedicated section 'ASGARD VIDEOS' within the THORUM. Pls. post your video here. We will open a special thread, but in case you face problems, you can open your own thread too. Pls. embed a youtube video link.

+ pls. limit the message to 120 seconds (2 minutes) to give everybody the same, fair chance.

+ we would love to hear your name, age, where you come from and what you like about THE ASGARD SAGA.
Plus whatever message you would like to leave to fellow Asgardians, the makers of the Saga or anybody who has not heard much about Asgard yet

+ please be respectful and do not misuse or abuse this platform. In general, by uploading your message you accept our terms of use and code of conduct!

+ by uploading your video, you agree that we can show it on our Asgard Site, the Magic Circle Festival or whereever we see fit in connection with "The Asgard Saga"

Before they swing wide open at the Loreley, with MANOWAR performing the songs from 'Thunder In The Sky' - the first CD from 'THE ASGARD SAGA' - live and Wolfgang revealing more about the first book, MANOWAR have just released the EP for those who cannot wait any longer!





Some of you have been really quick and purchased the mp3 version of the album at the MANOWAR online store. The EP is available for sale online in high-quality, DMR-free, MP3 format only at The Kingdom Of Steel Online Store http://store.magiccirclemusic.com/product/976/Manowar-MP3-Thunder-In-The-Sky-Hi-Fi-00---Entire-CD since June 10.

The downloadable version of the EP contains the same content as the tour version:

Fantasy becomes reality as MANOWAR releases the EP, 'Thunder In The Sky'. 'FATHER' - video collage featuring 16 languages! A key song from 'Thunder In The Sky" - the first CD from 'The Asgard Saga'

Asgardians,

so much is happening these days, its hard to keep up with the pace MANOWAR and WOLFGANG HOHLBEIN set.
The true fans that you are, many of you already discovered a lot of the news by yourselves and shared and discussed them in the Thorum.
Thanks for that!

The only reason you don't always get these news from us first (which is our aim, of course) is that with a project of such dimensions, a lot has to be done to ensure you soon can enjoy more of "The Asgard Saga'.

MANOWAR, as most of you know, are currently touring Europe on their 'Death to Infidels Tour 2009'. But no worries: they save the best for last and will perform the songs from the new 'Asgard'-related EP only at the MAGIC CIRCLE FESTIVAL!

More about the new album in the next BLOG entry. For now, here an amazing collage for 'FATHER' which was recorded in 16 languages! (so far ;) )

The story behind this song plays a central role in Wolfgang's first book from 'The Asgard Saga' (details of which will be revealed by the author at the MAGIC CIRCLE FESTIVAL) and all versions are featured on the bonus disc of the upcoming EP 'Thunder In The Sky' (the English version is featured on Disc 1)

can you believe it? Only six weeks until Magic Circle Festival III!

Band and crew are getting ready for their "Death to Infidels" Tour across Europe before the Gates to Asgard open at the Loreley,on July 18th
