MESSAGE FROM MANOWAR

Hail Brothers & Sisters,

Back home after some truly remarkable weeks in Europe.

Our mission was accomplished: Infidels in Finland, France, Spain, Romania, Norway, Germany and Russia could witness what has been known to the True Metal crowd all along: MANOWAR fans are the greatest fans in the world!

Our "Death to Infidels" tour was special in many ways:

- The first ever MANOWAR show in Romania
- The first ever open air show in Moscow
- The world premiere of "THE ASGARD SAGA" and the songs from "Thunder In The Sky" live at the MCF III on Loreley/Germany

Thanks to all of you who were there to celebrate True Metal with us!
And to those who could not: Don't worry! We'll be back!

Thanks to the promoters who had the balls to bring MANOWAR to their countries.
Thanks to all brothers and sisters who joined us at MCF, on stage and off stage.
Thanks to our crew and to all helpers who made this tour a great success.

Thanks first and foremost to our brothers and sisters all over the world for your constant support!

What a weekend!

Witnessing the live premiere of the "Thunder In The Sky" songs with thousands
of fans at MCF on Loreley was a truly great experience.
Like during the last festivals, the atmosphere was fantastic, with many great bands, most of all MANOWAR of course!

For me this festival was a very special experience: during the reading session for THE ASGARD SAGA and also at the
signing sessions on Friday the MANOWAR and metal fans gave me a very friendly welcome.
A big THANK YOU! to everybody!
It was very exciting to present the first stories from the Saga live and witness the reactions directly!

Attached a collection of greeting messages fans left in our ASGARD SAGA guestbook after the reading session.
Looks like they like our ideas. A very nice motivation for all of us!

See you at the next MAGIC CIRCLE FESTIVAL!

Then, after the positive feedback this year, with more time and space for THE ASGARD SAGA!

MCF 2009: THANK YOU ALL! SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!

Asgardians!

as announced, the Gates to Asgard were open this weekend, at MAGIC CIRCLE FESTIVAL on Loreley!

While MANOWAR and crew are preparing for their last show on this Summer tour, Moscow, those of us who were at the Loreley
will certainly take some time to remember these two days... and share our experiences with you.
There is a lot to tell...and we will do so.

Now that the first texts from 'The Asgard Saga' have been revealed officially, we will upload the stories in many translations in the next few days.
Plus we will give you some nice features... for free! Wait and see.

We also invite all Asgardians to share with us their emotions, their comments... and their photos and videos
(videos in the 'video' section ideally)!

[b]In the name of WOLFGANG HOHLBEIN and MANOWAR, and everybody involved in this project a HUGE thank you to all our helpers, especially to Ruxia, Nima and Johan, who acted as fantastic 'Ambassadors of Asgard', speaking to many fans during the festival and telling them more about our adventure.
And to Udo - 'Mr. Metal' - a man of many talents: not only organizer of some great festival entertainments, but also reader in our 'Asgard Saga' session where we could discover his natural story reading talents! (not easy, even for professionals!)
But 'thank you' to many other, unnamed 'Asgardian Angels', too![/b]

All of us involved in TAS were amazed by the sincere interest in the saga... looks like Wolfgang and Joey were right in their believe that this is something many will find as exciting as they did from the beginning!

More soon...I need to get some sleep now (it's been a long weekend, with short nights... but so worth it!!)

GETTING READY TO TURN LORELEY INTO ASGARD!

Asgardians,

Thursday, July 16th 2009 (12:20 a.m.)

Only 1 more day until the Gates to Asgard open!
With the opportunity to learn more about the Saga on the festival ground of Magic Circle Festival.
(Ticket holders for Saturday have access on Friday too, don't forget!)

MANOWAR and WOLFGANG HOHLBEIN will be there, for autograph sessions and to speak about THE ASGARD SAGA, there will be an opportunity to learn more about the Saga and what happens next... and of course, on July 18th we can witness the LIVE PREMIERE of the new songs from THUNDER IN THE SKY... From THE ASGARD SAGA!
- All this, of course, in addition to the regular Festival Programme, with other bands like HolyHell, Kingdom Come and many others -

Everybody has been very busy these last days and weeks... so please forgive us for not giving you as many updates on the BLOG as we would have wanted to. After MCF there will be plenty news... promise!

The Gates Of Asgard Will Open On July 17, 2009

This year's Magic Circle Festival will officially start with an opening ceremony on July 17 at 12:00 (noon). Here are some of the events you can look forward to on the 17:

Into Glory Ride: towards Asgard! Only 10 more days to MCF III at Loreley!

From the land of Dracula where they just let speakers explode (or generators, for that matter),
MANOWAR now ride to the home of Odin and Thor, for Norway Rock on July 10th!

What better final stop before the gates to Asgard open in only 10 days from now at the Loreley!

And only there will they perform the songs from 'Thunder In The Sky' for the first time live!
Plus many classics and fan favourites!

With Thor on our side, we are sure that the generators can match the power and the might of MANOWAR, even though it will be a tough challenge!

Death To Infidels 2009 Tour Report - Part 7

It was hot in Bucharest, but not as hot as when MANOWAR took the stage and blew out the power! The Romanian fans waited for years for us to get there and you can bet your ass we were set to make it up to them with mega wattage and hard driving metal! The generator wasn't grounded correctly causing the power generator to blow twice! Over 17,000 fans were in a frenzy, which gave the band more fuel to rock on! This was definitely a show they will never forget!! Hail Romania!

Since we started, we have received many very moving examples of how MANOWARs music or the Norse mythology influenced your lives.
