HAMMER OF THE GODS - 8th sneak into the TAS short novel by Wolfgang Hohlbein

Another attacker came towards him. Thor was warrior enough to dash the demonic creature´s skull into pieces, by just using his ellbow. ...

But he was still too shocked over his mishap to do little more than that.
This was impossible! Mjollnir had missed its target, not only once but twice, and this was not only shocking, but impossible, utterly and completely impossible. Mjollnir could not miss its target, because he was not only a weapon but the concentrated power of the Gods, irresistible and impeccable!
And yet it had happened... twice!
