I think Donnie is a great drumplayer. I like his playing on the first album!

When I first read the news of his guest return I wished I could be there to witness the miracle. But their tour doesn't include Greece and I couldn't afford to go anywhere else to see them. I know it's not the same but at least I will buy the DVD and get a taste of what it was like.

I disagree my lady for me only Scot make the difference.I can't understand how in one album you all make the Donnie the great drumplayer. He is a good drummer but only a good drummer.

Anyway i m glad because, one more time Manowar proove that is a united band and it's the only band (or from the minimum)who honnored their members. And all the ex members want to come and play with Manowar because the band and the fans loved them ,and they feel the same.Do you believe many ex members of the other grups to have feel this sentiment? For that Manowar have get out of this ''reality''. :headbang: :headbang:

I respect Manowar that they're still in contact with all members and that they get along so well. But if Donnie wasn't a good drummer Manowar wouldn't go on tour with him.

It's a matter of taste which drummer you prefer. My favorite drummer is Rhino.

We all have different opinions and different feelings about the gone members. For me it doesn't matter too who is playing as long as Eric and Joey stand on the stage. In my opinion you can't change the singer cause the new one sounds different. And you can't change the songwriter, the new one could be very very great but he would not be like the old one.

I have no special feeling about gitar and drums, as long as they make good music. I saw Manowar with Scott drumming in 2007, I saw them with Rhino in 2008 and I will see them with Donny 2009. Why not? Every concert I heard was really great, they all did ther job very well.

It is a sensless discussion who is the best drummer. You can't compair them, cause they have different styles and different powers and differens weaknes. But they are all professional and really good. You cannot say Manowar is really great but the drummer was bad... it doesn't fit. Manowar includes the drummer in the same way than they include the girarist, the bassist and the singer.
It is impossible to say Manowar is good but one of them was shit. It doesn't work!

Every musician gives something new to any band. You can hear the difference when there is a new drummer or a new guitar player. They are all important. They are as important as the singer. They give their own "color" in the band
Their own feelings, the way they see the music and different notes in a song.

You can’t say they are all the same. But yes the singer it is the one who gathers the lights and he is the one that most of the people love. Except if you have Blackmore in the equation. With him it is a another story.

I think Scott is great and very unique but he doesn't try to add something on live performances like a drum solo or a drum fill, he just plays it like it was recorded in the studio. I respect his choise but I prefer drummers who improvise so Donnie is more of my taste even if he is just a typical 80s drummer.

It's not saying that Scott is a bad drummer. I understand that he chooses to play like this and I know he could play better (he has said it on an interview also) but I'm judging solely based on the result according to my tastes.

Every member is important for a band. Every member has own ideas for the songs or the highlights at a show. And it's nice to see them all on tour. Next year Scott will maybe be on tour with Manowar and in the following year maybe another one. ;)

Ihave never seen any of them other than on video. What I can say as a singer is this. The drummer MUST be good or it throws everyone else off, to not have the r1ght beat. I respect Led Zeppelin not returning as a band after John "Bonzo" Bonham died. Just liten to Moby Dick... Nobody hardly can replace a player like that. On the other hand, I am glad Manowar can keep playing no matter who holds the sticks.
