Manowar's first drummer, Donnie Hamzik, has returned to the band just in time to become part of "The Asgard Saga" adventure.
Currently rehearsing for the Magic Circle Festival and further performances, he says "Hi" to the fans!

I am very happy with Donnie's return because I loved his drumming on Battle Hymns and he is incredibly talented. It will be good to see him perform songs not recorded by him originally. Just one quick question: is he going to be on the new album also? Until now I think he is listed only as a live guest member. If he returns as a full-time member this would be really great and would give a whole new dimension to Manowar's music. I'm not saying that Scott is a bad drummer but Donnie's playing is more of my taste, more complex and improvised. Welcome back Donnie!

I have asked twice (once on this thread and once on the New EP thread) and never got an answer... Does anybody have inside info about who is playing the drums on "Thunder In The Sky" and "Hammer Of The Gods"? Nothing has been published about it and Donnie is still listed as a "live guest" but from what I have read everywhere so far, it is obvious that he is a fulltime member (at least on the recordings of the next album).
